Life in The Fast Lame

We have been visited by a "shadow" today. A bright-eyed young professional burning to experience the glitz and glamour of the results-driven, done-yesterday world of PR.

And she's definitely asleep on Dee's desk right now.

Was there drool?

I MUST KNOW IF THERE WAS DROOL.

drool would be excellent.

can't be much worse, though, than finding one illustrious PTA summer intern (most of whom had the business acumen of a Pussy Cat Doll) with keyboard grid-marks on her face, like she'd been sleeping on a waffle-iron.

josh - didn't swab the desk, but i suspect there was.

ph - no one should be walking around looking like waffles.

i actually wouldn't mind looking like a waffle. or smelling like one either...

and c) couldn't POSSIBLY be that fabulous book we (kind of) commonly worked on, could it?

no, no, that book's holding the door to the office open right now, so i don't have to bring my key with me to the bathroom.

ok, so that's a lie. BUUUT..in our old office (before last years move) we used books to prop open the door AND on one occassion a client noticed and remarked "I hope MY book never becomes a door stop" Scoff scoff.

So we stopped doing that.
