the light of tomorrow is right where we are

me:

char: wow.
are we going to look back on the time we're in right now and feel this way? if so i don't think i can bear it.
me: HAHAHAHAHA
*sob*
char: i mean think about it--on some very deep level, this is the single most depressing thing it is possible to conceive of.
it is our one true conscious experience of predestination, of moving consciously, and inevitably, towards doom.
THERE IS NO WAY OUT
why do we even get up in the morning?
why do we put on clothes at all?
me: i don't know, it doesn't make sense when you think about it
and I DON'T EVER WANT TO THINK ABOUT IT AGAIN.
but i can't stop.
this helps :

stronger. better. faster. stronger.
we shall overcome.
char: yeah
"I'll do anything for a blond dyke"?
seems like a misallocation of resources.
though pretty girls on horns and strings does seem
like the kind of thing that might still be awesome in 20 years.
so there's that.
